when Americans make a movie with the title "2012" that makes the world of cinema of each country oriented to America one of our country "Indonesia", the question of the film is "why do Americans know better that there will be a major disaster in the world in 2012?" it is because the Americans have advanced thinking and it definitely boosted with advanced tools they use to "predict" disasters in 2012. then why Indonesia is not being American, that's the question?

            cultural relativism is understanding other cultures and their beliefs. For example what seems normal to one culture may seem offensive to another. ex: like china eats dogs and in America keeps them as pets. Ethnocentrism is the belief that your country is the best and your culture is the best and your right and other cultures are wrong.

-          if you moved from America to Mexico, you wouldn't be used to the way people greet one another, and it would be hard to adapt. You would then be experiencing culture shock.
